Christian Lutzow :

A skilled carpenter that enjoys the challenges construction gives. He resides in Palisade, Colorado with his girlfriend, Nicole and their two children. Christian is a native to Colorado and is proud to live in a beautiful state that allows him to enjoy work and play.

Professionally, Christian has been involved in three full sub-division residential builds, resulting in 36 successfully built homes throughout the Western Slope.

He was lucky enough to join in the building of Community Hospital built in Grand Junction Colorado. He was one of the few installers to install Fry Reglet architectural metal, Case Systems millwork, hand railing, crash railing, and Acrovyn/FRP wall protection. Prior to building houses he learned how to weatherize and remodel over five thousand low-income homes around Western Colorado. Weathering and remodeling these homes allowed them to become energy efficient. He did this by adding needed insulation, replacing outdated inefficient appliances, inspecting and repairing any air leakages. With the combined years of experience, Christian is a valued member of our building team. We look forward to using these energy saving techniques and his knowledge to make your dreams of a self-sufficient tiny home come true.

Michael Gresham:

Skilled in several facets of his life. He was born abroad via military and now lives in Grand Junction, Colorado with his ever growing family. Loves Colorado and what it has to offer year round!

Michael is a professional carver of wood sculpture and is main streamed in bas-relief carving. He grew up working and remodeling houses with his dad who taught him all the trades of a flip in residential. He then struck out to being a brick layer and built the homes around the Fruita golf course including the golf course itself.

He then applied himself to be a faux finisher in Aspen, Colorado and excelled in the art. Many of the houses include several movie star homes in Star Mountain. After the art was learned he moved around the mid west framing houses and doing finish carpentry. This is where he fell in love with working with wood and excelled in his carving.

Michael was commissioned by the five-star hotel and restaurant Camel Back Marriott in Phoenix, Arizona to carve a large wall mural. His art work was premiered in several magazines which led him to become artist of the year in Sedona, Arizona. He took his love of wood and opened a wholesale business where he was building functional artwork to eleven businesses in Arizona.

After several years applying his trade in art and his knowledge in business he joined with three other local artists to make a store front in Cave Creek, Arizona called the Copper Cactus. His life drastically changed course when the storesuffered a fire that took all of his tools. This opened up an opportunity to set him on a different path and drove him to become one of the best data engineers drilling the deepest horizontal well which still stands today. He retired in 2014 from the oil industry.

With his back ground now in engineering and business it was natural for him to see the stats in tiny homes. With his construction and art work abilities he and his team are making Five Star Tiny Homes into their personal mission to make the best tiny home you could ever imagine.
